Poem: This World

Go into this world with your whole heart,
A fiery mess of yourself.

Take the plunge,
Move toward greatness.

There are no reasons to hug the shoreline anymore.

Let go of balance.

What madness is this, keeping each other in time?

Wiggle free of your bindings, slip through the cage.

Take this world, just reach out and grab it.

  1. Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, ‘WOW! What A RIDE!!
