One Year of Bloggin’

Holy cow, somehow a whole year has gone by since I first started this little blog. Who would have known it would end up sticking with me throughout the whole year after my time in East Africa? I thought, for kicks, I would share the map below with you. In the last year, I have been fortunate enough to set foot on three continents, and explore three countries rather extensively, but the thing I am most grateful for is the fact that I’ve been able to see so much of this beautiful country (U.S.). Since the creation of this blog last September, I have set foot in 25 states, exactly half of this country. But even more impressively, between May 31 and August 1, a span of two months, I was in 20 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. For fun, I made this little map to show the 25 states I was lucky enough to visit and revisit this past year. It was my first time to Idaho and Montana, the rest were all repeats, but still spectacular.

I appreciate those of you who have been faithfully and sporadically following this blog in the past year. It is, as always, my hope to continue to share my tales as time allows. It is a pleasure being able to exchange thoughts and stories with you as the journey of life continues. I feel very blessed, grateful, lucky, fortunate.

Peace,

Matty
